How we raise money

It currently costs £2.5 million a year to run the hospice and that's a daunting task, particularly since the majority of our money comes from inside Wales with a population of only 3 million people.

A child that comes to stay at Tŷ Hafan

In 2007-8, Tŷ Hafan received £436,000 from the Welsh Assembly Government and Local Health Boards.

Nearly all the rest of the money we receive is from our commercial and fundraising activities.
