If you would like to get more out of your student experience, make a real difference and have fun at the same time, then student fundraising is for you!

And don't forget you may be able to link your fundraising to part  of your course and you can add it to your CV or UCAS application form!

Here are some fundraising ideas, which we hope will inspire you:

• "Come dine with me" dinner party, only with a student twist!
• "Gok Wan" style clothes swap or fashion show.
• Car wash on campus.
• Charity of the year/RAG adoption.
• Open mic night, acoustic evening or a battle of the bands.
• Pub raid - in fancy dress or three legged! Check out our guidelines on keeping it safe and legal.  
• A record attempt - get into the Guinness book of records with some wacky fundraiser, which has never been done before!
• Sponsored speed dating.
• Slave auction.
• University Challenge, quiz night - get different societies to compete against each other.

You can obtain downloadable resources, which include:

• Bilingual blank posters, A5 flyers and tickets/invites.
• Information posters and leaflets.
• A fundraising booklet.
• Stickers.

If fundraising is not for you - why not become a Volunteer?

There are various ways you can support us through Volunteering. You could help out at one of our events, actively promote Tŷ Hafan on campus or become a volunteer in one of our charity shops.

By becoming a volunteer you'll gain lots of experience and its also a great addition to your CV!
