Bereavement support

Tŷ Hafan will continue to hold your hand following the death of your child, for as long as you need us. We're a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on and we'll support you through the difficult times. Your whole family is thought about; we'll comfort you all, as you adjust to life without your child.

Tŷ Hafan feel its really important to honour the memory of your child, in the way you wish and when you feel is best.

We have chosen the pebble as our symbol of remembrance. We offer your family a pebble carved with your child's name, which you can place in the memorial garden or take home.

All families are formally invited to attend services of remembrance, one of which is in the summer and the other is a candlelight service at Christmas. 

The memorial garden has become a very special place for bereaved families, many of whom continue to visit for quiet reflection throughout the year. You may wish to place flowers or messages in the garden. Also placed in the chapel is a book of memories, you may chose to add a personal tribute for your child.
