This race must be completed within the required pacing set in the official race rules (see below). Participants must enter for the challenge, registering for the 10K and Half Marathon individually will not make you eligible for the challenge medal.
31K Challenge runners must also provide a medical certificate to take part in the race; this can be obtained from the majority of GPs. A template form will be provided in your race pack. If a medical certificate is not provided by Wednesday 1 August 2019 you will not be able to take part.
Participants taking part in the 5K, 10K and Half Marathon must be able to maintain a pace of 16 minutes per mile, therefore a training pace of 15 minutes per mile is recommended. Runners unable to maintain the pace may be picked up at any point along the course and taken to the finish line area.
*Dates and times may be subject to change. All races are subject to capacity limits and may close at any time. Any modifications will be communicated as appropriate. Race medals will not be mailed to registrants that did not participate.
