Butterfly Ball - London

In a brave move we decided this year that if the Welsh community in London would not come to the party in Wales, then we would take the party to them! And what a success it was!

Guests at the first ever Tŷ Hafan London Butterfly Ball, were treated to a memorable evening, with a distinctive Welsh flavour, at the Café Royal on Thursday 13th November.

Hosted by actor and comedian Rob Brydon, the 200 guests were also delighted by the unforgettable performances of West End star John Owen-Jones, pianist Iwan Llewellyn-Jones, Olivier Award Winner Daniel Evans and soprano Gwawr Williams.

Sponsored by Admiral Group plc, the event provided the perfect opportunity for London and Wales-based companies to network and show their support for Tŷ Hafan.

We are very grateful for all those who made the evening such a resounding success, and have already had commitment from several organisations who want to attend the event next year.

With some fantastic "money can't buy" auction items such as a Joe Calzaghes signed boxing gloves together with custom-made jewellery, holidays and much more, the event raised more than £30,000 on the evening which will help make a difference to the lives of families who currently access Tŷ Hafan's services.
