Kath is passionate about improving the quality of people’s lives in Wales and has over 20 years public sector experience working in Local Authorities, the Welsh Development Agency and now as a senior civil servant for Welsh Government leading Housing and Regeneration.
Kath started her career in the private sector working for a stockbroker organisation before training as an accountant with Gwent County Council. She has excellent finance and governance skills as well as experience in change management and leadership. Kath led the merger of the Welsh Development Agency and has since worked in the economic department specialising in business improvement.
She currently leads the Housing supply and standards division of Welsh Government as well as Regeneration for Wales, working with the private, public and third sector to create vibrant and viable places.
Kath graduated from Cardiff University and has two children and a dog and lives in Beddau.
