Representing biscuit production to ladies lingerie, thirty teams from companies across South Wales converged on the Vale Hotel on Sunday 15 August for an afternoon of fun and competition in the first Ty Hafan “It's a Knockout Challenge”.

Having been introduced to games such as the Wedge, Bungee Mat and the Squeezies and fighting their way through tubes of foam all the teams were determined to give it their all.

It was a closely fought battle which resulted in a final four teams comprising “The Chocolate Teapots” (RBS Insurance), “The Rofling Kembo's (MOD St Athan), The Mo-Fo's (Beddau) and one of the three Dow Corning teams.

But the Ropfling Kembo's eventually came out on top to be hailed as the first ever winners of the “It's a Knockout Challenge Cup”

“Everyone had a really fantastic time and I would like to thank all the teams and the organizations for their fantastic support” commented Owain Cassidy from Ty Hafan. “As well as having a lot of fun, they have certainly helped to make a real difference to life-limited children, young people and their families across Wales.”
