A Doggy Day Out in Margam Country Park

Boisterous brothers Bodie and Yogi have already signed up for Tŷ Hafan’s brand new event this year – being held especially for that special friend in your life – your dog !  “Hounds for Pounds” will take place on Sunday 5 August in Margam Country Park between 11.00am – 4.00pm.

Apart from giving him or her the opportunity to make lots of friends during  the sponsored walk through the Park there will be fun competitions and stalls all aimed at making sure you and your pooch have a really great day out whilst raising funds for Tŷ Hafan.

The family hospice for young lives prides itself on providing the highest level of care and support, not just to the 400 plus life-limited children and young people who currently access its services, but to their families as well.  And there are many of us of course who would consider that a much-loved pet is just as much part of the family.

By taking part in Hounds for Pounds you and the dog in your life can make a huge difference.   With your support Tŷ Hafan can ensure it is always there for life-limited children, young people, their families (and their dogs)  from across Wales.
Entry costs just £5 per adult, all children under 16 years old go free and we ask that each entrant raises £30 minimum in sponsorship.   And who wouldn’t want to sponsor your dog !
