Bailey signs up for Hounds for PoundsTuesday 24 July 2012
Eighteen month cocker spaniel, Bailey and his owner Natalie Gould from Bryn, near Port Talbot have already signed up for the Tŷ Hafan “Hounds for Pounds” sponsored dog walk taking place on Sunday 5 August in Margam Country Park.
“We are really looking forward to taking part” said Natalie. “It will be wonderful having so many different dogs all together and being able to chat to all their owners. As dog lovers we all have a bit of a soft spot for our pets and it will be great fun to join in with the sponsored walk and competitions”.
Bailey has already been quite successful in getting his sponsorship together – it’s a really novel way of supporting a charity which does such great work for some families across Wales who so need the support from Tŷ Hafan”.
Entry costs just £5 per adult, all children under 16 years old go free and each entrant is asked to raise £30 minimum in sponsorship. And who wouldn’t want to sponsor your dog !
