EuroLogo Wales, a printing, embroidery and branding business in South Wales, is giving a percentage of all its sales to Tŷ Hafan in the run-up to Christmas this year. The company hopes to raise £1,000 by the day itself.
“EuroLogo is a business with its heart in the local community, and we decided that Tŷ Hafan was an ideal choice, given the support and care it offers children and families across South Wales,” says Stephen Vickers, Managing Director of EuroLogo. “Having just become a dad again myself, it makes me realise the importance of organisations like Tŷ Hafan being out there for sick kids and parents under stress.”
EuroLogo thought Christmas was the ideal time to establish the link with Tŷ Hafan. “When you think of Christmas, you think of families and children“ says Stephen. “It’s all too easy to get swept up in the overly commercial aspects of the festive period and forget what’s really important. Even though we are a business, we want to demonstrate the social conscience that runs through all staff.”
Marrying commerce and good deeds, EuroLogo sells Christmas wear that can be customised and personalised either for yourself or a friend. “People get very competitive when it comes to their Christmas jumpers and the like, so we’re happy to give people the advantage by letting them personalise their outfit. It’s one sure way of becoming the talking point of the Christmas party… in a good way, I hope!”
EuroLogo is giving a percentage of ALL its sales to Tŷ Hafan, not just Christmas items. EuroLogo provides branded apparel for everyone, whether it be rugby kits or PPE kit on a construction site.
“We’re optimistic that we will reach our fundraising target by Christmas”, says Stephen. “The challenge will hopefully be how we can top it in 2019!”
