'all together now’ to help fund more musical memories at tŷ hafan

Live Music Now Wales is calling on its supporters to help fund their incredible musical services for another year — and we, as Tŷ Hafan supporters, families, volunteers and staff, need to help them to help us (though votes… lots of them!)

all together now

Over the past year, Live Music Now Wales’ talented musicians have visited Tŷ Hafan once a month and performed live music for our children and families — from guitarists to songwriters and from string quartets to brass bands. The professional musicians are all skilled and trained to understand the context of the hospice environment and perform to their audience’s needs. It’s an invaluable service that aims to help short lives become full ones, and we feel extremely privileged to offer our Tŷ Hafan families the opportunity to make such wonderful memories from these intimate, participatory performances.

Live Music Now Wales has developed the “All Together Now” initiative for an opportunity provided by the National Lottery and ITV Wales’ ‘People’s Projects’ to win a £50,000 grant from the National Lottery Community Fund. The money would enable Tŷ Hafan and other children’s charities in South Wales to receive not only monthly musical visits, but weekly ones!

We’re delighted to see that the “All Together Now” project is one of the five regional finalists shortlisted to receive the grant, and we’re looking to support the organisation as much as we can by encouraging all of our Tŷ Hafan supporters to give them a vote or two!

Voting opens at 9.00am on Monday 1 April and closes at 12:00pm on Monday 15 April — and your votes will be SUPER important during this time.

Make sure you catch ITV Wales’ launch programme at 6:00pm on Monday 1 April where you’ll find out how to vote. The “All Together Now” short film will also go live on the website below from 1 April where you can see the brilliant musicians in action.
