Refer a child

Anyone can refer a child to us with consent… it’s quick and easy.

Phone us on 029 2053 2200 and we’ll collect the information we need from you there and then, with follow-up by email or letter, and at our next meeting with you.

A referral to Tŷ Hafan does not necessarily mean that the child immediately starts visiting the hospice. Indeed, much of what we can do to help can be provided through our Family Support Team.

We appreciate that making a referral can be a difficult step when the future is not entirely certain. At what point is it decided that there is no reasonable hope of cure? What we do know, from experience, is that the sooner we are able to provide palliation to child and family, the more beneficial it is to them.
