This year, we're aiming to raise £1.5 million for our hospice refurbishment and we need your help

This Christmas, you could give the children of Wales a special gift: the gift of a hospice fit for the future.

For the last 20 years, Tŷ Hafan has been in the unique position of providing comfort, care and support to over 840 children with life-limiting conditions and their families across Wales. Over this time, our hospice had been a home away from home for many of our children and families.

However the number of families who need our help continues to grow. We are seeing a rise in children with increasingly complex conditions who require even more specialist support and, in order to meet their needs, we must make significant improvements to our facilities and equipment.

To ensure we are able to continue to deliver the highest standard of care to our families in a warm, welcoming environment, we need to undergo a major refurbishment of our hospice, ensuring that it is fit for the next generation. The planned updates will make sure that parents are able to enjoy an environment where they can relax and recharge their batteries while the activities we provide allow the children to develop socially, physically and emotionally, helping them to reach their full potential.

A donation from you today will help make a world of difference to life-limited children and their families, both now and in the future.

This project will cost £1.5 million and we urgently need your help. We receive no direct Government funding and rely overwhelmingly upon the continued support of the people of Wales to continue to run and to make improvements to our hospice. By helping to fund this refurbishment, you will be making a world of difference to the lives of life-limited children and their families, both now and in the future

Rob's Story

“My daughter, Poppy, first visited Tŷ Hafan in 2012 when she was seven. She had been having a difficult few years, she had been quite ill and we were exhausted. We had no one else to turn to and we were so grateful for the support." Read Rob's full story by clicking on the button below.
