Tŷ Hafan is offering brides to be the opportunity to find their dream wedding dress without breaking the bank.
The charity is opening its first ever exclusive pop-up bridal shop which will be located in its existing store, Emporium by Tŷ Hafan, in Royal Arcade Cardiff.
Between Wednesday 25 and Sunday 29 July, any prospective bride looking for her perfect gown will have the chance to browse through a fantastic selection of ex display, nearly new and sample dresses by designers including Jonathan James, Ronald Joyce, Veromia and Sophia Tolli. But instead of the usual eye-watering prices commanded by designer labels, these beautiful gowns cost between just £99 and £199. All proceeds of the dress sales will go directly to Tŷ Hafan.
“Tŷ Hafan offers care, comfort and support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families. Whether it’s in community or in the hospice, our care is completely free of charge to the families in Wales that need us. Its costs around £11,500 each day to fund Tŷ Hafan and every year, more and more families are turning to us for much needed support”, said Chloe Payne, Events Officer at Tŷ Hafan.
“By coming along to our pop up shop and buying their dream gown, brides-to-be have the unique opportunity to make their special day even happier by knowing that they’re helping the families of children with life-limiting conditions make the most of the time they have together. Our Tŷ Hafan brides can feel beautiful inside and out!” she added.
The pop up shop will be open between 9:00am and 5:00pm. It’s located in Royal Arcade next to the Uncommon Ground Coffee shop. No appointment is needed.
