Last week, a part of Pembrey Country Park in Carmathenshire, disappeared under a blanket of beautiful bubbles, as we staged a trial run of the Bubble Rush, coming to Pembrey on 9 September. Just take a look at this video to see why you should sign up for the foamy fiesta!
Curious families staying at the caravan park wandered over to see what all the fuss was about, and ended up joining in the foamy fun – from babies of a few months old to grans and grandads, and everyone in between.
The Pembrey Bubble Rush is only the second time Tŷ Hafan has run this event, after a successful debut in Cardiff earlier this summer. Participants can run, jog, walk, dance or toddle through a 5 km course, passing through four Bubble Stations where canons pump out coloured foam to create a 4ft deep foam pit. The events are not timed, every course is family friendly, pushchairs and wheelchairs are more than welcome and everyone gets a medal at the end.
It all gets very messy, and everyone gets to have y frothy fun whilst raising much needed funds for Tŷ Hafan.
