Gift Aid

By completing our Gift Aid Form below, Tŷ Hafan can add a further 25% on top of your donation providing you have paid more than this sum in tax during this financial year. If, for example, you are a taxpayer and donate £100 in a particular tax year, Tŷ Hafan can claim back £25 of Gift Aid from HMRC. This increases the value of your donation to £125.00. Higher rate taxpayers benefit as well as Tŷ Hafan. By making a claim on your Self Assessment Tax Return, you can reclaim higher rate relief. Higher rate relief is the difference between the higher rate of tax (40%) and the basic rate of tax (20%), i.e. 20% multiplied by the donation, plus the Gift Aid. On a donation of £100 this would amount to £25.

Tŷ Hafan can only benefit if you send us a signed Gift Aid Declaration, so simply submit the form below or tick the relevant box when making a donation online. This will also enable us to reclaim Gift Aid for donations made at any time in the previous four years.
