Join us on this epic 2k spooky fun run where you will start in front of the castle grounds and run around this fantastic location.
The route begins by heading out to the gardens and wooden country park.
The castle and parts of the grounds will be lit, so don’t fret – it won’t be too scary for the little ones!
Run, walk or jog, the choice is yours. Fancy dress is optional but strongly encouraged – think bright neon colours and Halloween dress up! – and we’ll be giving a prize for the best costume.
Registration opens at 17:45 and the event starts at 18:30. There’s no time limit for completing the route.

There is no minimum sponsorship and the Principality Building Society will match fund your fundraising up to a total of £12,500 for the Caldicot Castle and Country Park Dark Run.

What you need to know
Every child must be accompanied by a participating adult
Each adult can accompany a maximum of three children
Everyone must bring a headtorch (these will not be provided)
Parking arrangements TBC
This is a dog-friendly event, with one dog allowed per participant
Accessible toilets and baby changing facilities are available
Your dog must be kept at your side on a short, handheld, non-extendable lead
It is not permitted to participate with a pushchair and a dog at the same time
The event is partially wheelchair accessible (please contact events@tyhafan.org to find out more)
