Care for children

We provide outstanding care to children with life-shortening conditions to meet their individual needs and help them have a good quality of life. This vital care is provided in our warm and welcoming hospice, communities across Wales, family homes and local hospitals.

Information for professionals

Our aim is to work closely with health and social care professionals so we provide the most effective care and support possible to children and their families.
We can also help professionals talk to families about the specialist care we provide and the implications of a child’s condition.

We know that caring for a child with a life-shortening condition is likely to be extremely demanding on you and your family. But we want you to know that you’re not alone.
We offer vital emotional and practical support to help ease your worries and make sure you don’t feel alone.

Make a referral

Children with a wide range of conditions can be referred to us, no matter when they were diagnosed or how far their condition has progressed.

We may also admit a child or young person in an emergency if they are nearing the end of life or an issue has rapidly developed that’s affecting their health.
