Ollie’s mum, Christine, has her own business and during the pandemic when Ollie was being home-schooled, they made a business plan together so that he could learn all about profits and loss.

The business model they chose was for stick-on door signs and their first ever product was a sign for their letterbox. Ollie is a superstar with maths, so he quickly learned, and he decided to carry on the business!

Four years on, Ollie handles every aspect of his business all by himself, from designing the signage on the computer to measuring, cutting and finishing. His stick-on ‘Croeso’ letterbox signs are just gorgeous and, when he has some spare time, he makes them in bulk.

At first, Ollie began donating the proceeds from his business to support the NHS during the COVID-19 pandemic. But, since being inspired by Alfi’s story last year, he has been donating £1 from every sale to Tŷ Hafan.

Ollie told us, “After my mum telling me about Tŷ Hafan and how they help families, I wanted to help them. I enjoy making my letterbox signs and being part of my mum’s business. It makes me happy to help charities, too.”
