We pull out all of the stops to ensure that every child has a Christmas to remember.
Thanks to the generosity of our wonderful supporters, the hospice receives many gifts that are donated for the children who use our services.
Although we really appreciate everyone’s generosity, unfortunately a lot of the gifts we receive aren’t suitable for the children we support because many need specialist toys and equipment.
They can’t play with toys that you find in the shops and can’t make use of things like chocolate selection boxes.
We understand that our supporters want to make sure that all of the children and families we work with are able to enjoy their Christmas together, and it’s a huge priority for us too.
After all, when a child’s life is short, it’s so important to make every moment count and that’s why we put on events throughout December that allow children and families to celebrate like anyone else.
This includes Christmas parties, the famous Tŷ Hafan Pantomime, Christmas markets, Christmas Meals for the whole family and a fully accessible ‘Festival of Lights’ where the hospice gardens are lit up for a very special experience.
We also hold our annual Candlelight Remembrance Service for families whose children have sadly died.
These experiences are invaluable for families who know that this Christmas could be their last together.
This year we’re aiming to raise £10,000 to help families to celebrate Christmas together and with your help, we can make this a Christmas to remember.
