Tŷ Hafan’s first Corporate Ambassador
Lloyd Davies was appointed as Tŷ Hafan’s first Corporate Ambassador in 2014 in recognition of his long standing support for the hospice and his extensive charity fundraising through his conveyancing company Convey Law, and the Conveyancing Foundation charity.
Lloyd has spearheaded many fundraising events for Tŷ Hafan and together with funds raised by Convey Law through the Conveyancing Foundation’s innovative Charity Lotto, he has helped to fundraise over £375,000 for Tŷ Hafan in the last decade.
Lloyd has also joined Dads, family, friends and other supporters of Tŷ Hafan in a number of gruelling charity challenges over the years, most recently the final cycling leg of the Tŷ Hafan Dads’ tough Ten in Taff challenge in 2022, following on from the Dad’s 5in55 challenge in 2018.
Lloyd trekked the Great Wall of China with Tŷ Hafan in 2017 and has taken part in or supported just about every major Tŷ Hafan fundraising event over the course of the last decade.
He said: “The staff at Convey Law love Tŷ Hafan and have taken part in so many Tŷ Hafan fundraising events and challenges including the Midnight Sleepwalk, the Taff Trail Cycle and Rainbow Run, as well as raising money for us through many of their own events including dress down days and parties.
“I am very privileged to be able to serve Tŷ Hafan and I am always in awe of the incredible work the hospice does for so many children and their families. It has been an absolute honour to play a small part in the Tŷ Hafan journey and to have met so many inspirational people – children, parents and family members, staff, supporters and fundraisers – along the way.”
