The awards, sponsored by Principality Building Society, were created to recognise the incredible achievements of children and young people across Wales, whilst raising money for charities like Tŷ Hafan and Tŷ Gobaith which support them.

Rachel Ritter, Head of Major Gifts and Partnerships at Tŷ Hafan, said: “These youngsters are an inspiration to us as they never complain, never give up – they really do keep calm and carry on.”

The awards ceremony will take place on Friday 24th March at Mercure Holland House hotel in Cardiff.

Once again it promises to be one of the most glamorous, high-profile events in the charity calendar, with the attendance of many media personalities, celebrities and sports stars, along with performances from high profile entertainers.

Covering every part of Wales, the award categories will recognise outstanding personal courage, bravery, sporting and creative achievements; and also celebrate those children who help others – championing causes in their communities, protecting the environment, caring for others and fundraising.
