We had a goal of raising £250,000 between 10 am on 27th November and 10 pm on 29th November with our When Your World Stops appeal and, thanks to you, we did it… and then some!

We were amazed to have beaten that target, raising £342,922 during the campaign’s 60 hours! And that’s not all. As it stands, we’ve continued to raise money after the appeal ended, now at £344,333 (that’s a huge 37% more than our target) and the figure keeps growing!

Every donation made in that 60-hour period was doubled by our very kind match funders, which means that your donations had twice the impact.

The When Your World Stops appeal focuses on baby Rose Jeans who died at Tŷ Hafan. Rose was just 1 year old when she died of Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumour, an aggressive type of cancer.

We provided Rose with end-of-life care and her family with ongoing bereavement support.

If you’d like to donate to this campaign, you still can by clicking here. We would be so grateful.

We’d also like to thank Catherine, Andrew and Oliver Jeans who bravely told their story. Without them, the appeal wouldn’t have been possible.

If you were an Appeal Champion, you made a donation or you helped spread the word about this appeal, we extend our heartfelt thanks to you. You’re brilliant!

Every penny raised (and there were many, many pennies raised!) will be going towards our purpose, which is to help children in Wales with life-shortening conditions live full lives and, when the time comes, provide end-of-life care and bereavement support.
