The Vale of Glamorgan Council has issued a notice which states that development activity which is in breach of planning control measures has taken place on the land situated between Tŷ Hafan and Beechwood College and that a ‘Stop Notice’ has been issued with immediate effect.
We would urge those involved in any activity which may be in breach of planning controls to comply with this notice, to respect due process, and, to respect the needs and rights of the existing communities around this piece of land.
With regards to any proposals to develop the site adjacent to our hospice, we are continuing to monitor the situation. As yet we understand that no plans meeting the required standards have been submitted to the Vale of Glamorgan Council.
Finally our concerns remain unchanged toward any proposals which might impact the security, safety, privacy and tranquility of our hospice and memorial gardens whatsoever.
