As a terrific part of our live music line up at this year’s Family Fun Day, Rock Choir will be taking to the stage to give you an uplifting performance of some of the most-loved pop and rock anthems.
Family Fun Day is an annual family-friendly event that takes place on our coastal Tŷ Hafan grounds in Sully, giving our supporters a unique glimpse into the heart of the hospice and an entertaining summer day out.
The whole team at Tŷ Hafan is delighted to be welcoming Rock Choir back to perform once again. This musical ensemble is known and loved for delivering a uniquely arranged, feel-good experience to get your toes tapping.
Rock Choir Leader, Paul Mansford, told us: “We’re getting geared up for Tŷ Hafan’s Family Fun Day this year and rehearsals have been going fantastically.
“Those Rockies have pipes and we’ve been practising lots of new songs for this year. It’s great to be able to do what we do best and support Tŷ Hafan at the same time.”
Paul has been kind enough to give us a peek of the set list for the show… but shh! Don’t tell anyone! Just a handful of the songs you can look forward to singing along to on the day are:

- A Thousand Years – Christina Perry
- I Wanna Dance – Whitney Houston
- Dreams – The Cranberries
- Video Killed the Radio Star – The Buggles.
Rock Choir is the biggest contemporary choir in the world with more than 25,000 members of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
It holds three Guinness World Records including the accolade of ‘the biggest hit act in the UK’ and ‘the largest musical act to release an album (signed)’.
But it’s not just about the singing. Rock Choir is an inclusive community that brings people together through music, dance and friendship. And the best part? To join the choir, new members don’t need to audition, and don’t need any previous musical experience.

Family Fun Day is taking place on Saturday 15th July 2023 from 12 pm until 5 pm. It’s a big ‘thank you’ from us to our supporters. There will be food and drink, live music and an abundance of free games, activities and craft-making for all ages.
