The fantastic Tŷ Hafan Allstars ice hockey team will be back together on the at the annual charity tournament in Cardiff later this month.
The team was a huge success at last year’s tournament, held at Ice Arena Wales in Cardiff, when they came second in the fast and furious weekend tournament, only losing to MIND in the final.
They also raised an amazing £16,000 in sponsorship for us, having donated well over £70,000 for us since they began taking part in this ice hockey tournament all the way back in 2016!
Last year the Tŷ Hafan team was captained by one of our Trustees, James Pepper, and lots of staff, volunteers and families went along to support the 18-strong team of all skating abilities. James is acting as captain again this year.
With a mutual love of ice hockey, and the ambition raise as much money as possible for charity, these incredible teams travel to the tournament from all over the country. Teams representing eight excellent charities take part! Find our more about the tournament here.

Event details
You are very welcome to attend the Allstars tournament to cheer the teams on. The games will take place on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th July, from midday until 7 pm.
Tickets are £3 per day or £5 for the full weekend and they’re available on the door. There is no ticket price for children, but a small donation will be much appreciated.
