“Hi my name is Theo, I’m 16 years old and live with my mum, dad and my two brothers Rowan and Frank, in Penarth.”
“We are one of Tŷ Hafan’s families, my older brother Rhys died when he was 7 years old just before I was born.
“I have been going to the Supersibs group basically my whole life and the Supersibs team are always really supportive and we have a great time. Now I’m a member of the Tŷ Hafan Youth Board. The Youth Board does accessibility audits on famous places across Wales and makes sure that the youth voice is a part of Tŷ Hafan’s decision making.
“I enjoy swimming, tennis and going to the gym as I like to be active. I like travelling and exploring, some favourite places are Oman and Austria. I volunteer at St John’s Ambulance gaining practical first aid experience whilst also getting to watch football matches and concerts! I’m also training as a lifeguard which builds useful hands-on skills.
“I plan to study medicine and become a doctor. I want to become a doctor because I’m interested in how the human body works and enjoy studying science. I want to make a real difference in people’s lives and do something rewarding and meaningful. Before starting university I’d like to take a year out to travel. I think this will broaden my perspective and help me gain valuable life experience whilst exploring different cultures.
“A fun fact about me: we celebrated my brother Rhys’ 18th birthday by climbing 18 mountains over the course of a year with our family and his old friends.”
