Wow! What can we say? We are in awe of the efforts of the teams who completed the 25th GE Aerospace Welsh 3 Peaks challenge on Saturday 10th June.

Their dedication to training, fundraising and, of course, getting through this enormous challenge was spectacular. So far, this determined bunch has raised £63,045-and-counting for us! Despite the 20.35 mile walk and the ascent of 9,397 ft, each team gave it their all and we are so inspired their energy and perseverance.

Thank you to every person who made this event yet another success, including GE Aviation, those who volunteered on the day, those who donated and, of course, all the teams taking part.

Next year’s Welsh 3 Peaks will be in June, and we’ll have more details for you soon. In the meantime, you can register your interest for Welsh 3 Peaks 2024 here

About Welsh 3 Peaks

Welsh 3 Peaks is an annual event brought to you by GE Aerospace and in collaboration with Tŷ Hafan.

Teams of four walkers, with their designated driver taking them from mountain to mountain, climb Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen-y-Fan in 15 hours.

The GE Welsh 3 Peaks took place in 1998, with two teams taking on the walk. Since then, the challenge has come on in leaps and bounds and has had a true impact on the work we do at Tŷ Hafan.

Before the 25th anniversary, this flagship event had raised £1,841,429 for Tŷ Hafan.

To put that staggering sum into perspective, it could have paid for 614 families for a weekend of short break care at our hospice, including accommodation, food and drink, play and 24-hour nursing care.

Thank you again to all of the teams who took part – we hope to see you next year for Welsh 3 Peaks 2024!
