Calling all foodies! This Saturday and Sunday (2 and 3rd September) the Great British Food Festival returns to Margam Park and this year festival goers will not only get to celebrate the very best of food and drink – but they will also be able to support Tŷ Hafan Children’s Hospice too.

Emily Hancock, Social Media and Marketing lead for the Great British Food Festival, said: “This year we are also pleased to be supporting Tŷ Hafan’s children’s hospice and the great work they do looking after the families of life-limited children in South Wales.”

Shelley Kirkham, Senior Fundraising Executive for Tŷ Hafan, said: “We are so pleased and grateful to have the amazing Great British Food Festival supporting Tŷ Hafan Children’s Hospice this year.

“It costs us more than £5.2m every year to provide vital care and support for children with life-shortening conditions and their families in Wales and these costs are only going up due to the ongoing cost of living crisis. We hope everyone has a great time at the Great British Food Festival this weekend and we thank everyone for their life-changing support.”

The Great British Food Festival showcases a wide variety of international delicacies, each representing the unique flavours of different parts of the world, celebrating the rich diversity of cuisine and putting the spotlight on the talents of passionate chefs and food artisans.

Attractions will include live cooking demonstrations and food talks with renowned chefs plus the festival offers something for the whole family. Activities for children include face painting, fairground rides, and cooking classes for little aspiring chefs, plus there’s plenty of retail therapy for the grown-ups with the festival’s artisan food and craft market.

The Great British Food Festival will run from 10 am to 5pm on both days and tickets can be bought here: https://greatbritishfoodfestival.com/margam-park/
