Energy services and the Priority Services Register

Ofgem

We are all hearing news every day about the rising costs of gas and electricity to heat, light and fuel our homes and the real risk of even greater price rises for our utilities over the next few months.

We understand that this may be a real worry for many families and we are doing what we can to raise these concerns with the Welsh Government and highlight the specific issues facing many people who are caring for vulnerable children or other family members.

Many of you may have already registered free of charge with the Priority Service Register scheme. This has been set up by Ofgem, energy suppliers and networks to ensure that there is support available for customers who face additional risks.

If you are not yet aware of this scheme and have not registered with it you can find out more here: https://www.ofgem.gov.uk/getting-extra-help-priority-services-register
