Sian is the only nurse consultant for children in Wales and is based at Aneurin Bevan University Hospital Health Board. Her role involves enhancing patient care through service development, research, education and strategy. Sian has had a strong link with Tŷ Hafan throughout her career.

How old are the children and young people who use Tŷ Hafan?
We care for and support children from birth to their 18th birthday. If a young person reaches 18, they are no longer able to come to Hafan for short break care, but we continue to support them and help them through the transition to adult services. This may include using an adult hospice.
